Customers can deploy PoE while simultaneously increasing their speed to 10G, ten times that of the Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) standard. The new ICMs are ideal for supporting the high-power requirements of network devices and the Internet of Things (IoT).

This product family can send or receive 0 to 60 W or 0 to 100 W of power per port across all four pairs of Ethernet cable, maintaining the bandwidth of 10GbE signals compliant with NBASE-T, meeting the latest IEEE 802.3 electrical standard requirements and common-mode parameters. Furthermore, the products can continuously carry 600 mA or 1000 mA of current and 37.0–57.0 VDC, operating in a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, depending on the model.

Bel Fuse ICMs can be used as PSEs (power supply equipment) or PDs (powered devices) and are designed to support all Marvell PHYs, including the MV-CUX3610. The latest products are backward compatible with slower speeds and lower power ratings as needed, and utilize industry-standard pin footprints and configurations, including 50 microinches of gold-plated contacts, as required by the FCC, with EMI spring pins in the shielding to improve EMI and ESD performance. Available in many different LED color combinations, the ICMs are 100% high-potential tested, lead-free, wave solder compatible, RoHS 6/6 compliant, UL approved, and feature a top-flip RJ45 connector for ease of use.
