The MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Tri-Start connectors are ideal for PCB applications, as the contacts come pre-assembled, greatly simplifying wire-to-board wiring. Optional alignment discs ensure a smooth assembly process. Several versions of the Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Tri-Start connectors are available: metal "TV" versions (aluminum, stainless steel, or marine bronze) and composite "CTV" versions, which offer a lightweight, corrosion-resistant connector with the same high-performance characteristics as their metal counterparts. Various housing options are also available, including rivet nut, double flange, and reduced flange. Pre-tinned and double-pre-tinned contact options enhance reliability.
