Wildcat connectors are specifically designed to reduce SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) in advanced applications, a critical feature for UAVs and other space-constrained systems. With multiple housing sizes, contact configurations, and mating options, the Wildcat series provides design flexibility and compatibility with dense and demanding environments.
The series incorporates an easy-grip mating ring with a triple-threaded connection for quick mating and unmapping, along with a black zinc-nickel plating finish for durability and environmental resistance. When mated, the connectors achieve IP67 environmental sealing standards, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress under harsh operating conditions.

Wildcat connectors have also been tested through thermal cycling and are designed to withstand vibration and exposure to fuels, oils, and cleaning fluids without compromising their electrical or mechanical performance, making them ideal for demanding applications in UAVs, defense systems, and rugged transport platforms.

In addition to physical and environmental resistance, the series includes key features such as sealing on both the interface and the conductors, a positive locking coupling mechanism, and an interface that prevents accidental contact (“scoop-proof”), improving system reliability under intensive service conditions.
