The new product line makes life easier for users by reducing the burden of knowledge, weight, and reliability, thanks to the following:

1. Easy coupling. Attaching the LP360 TM connector is as intuitive as fastening your vest, without compromising the high-performance reliability required in demanding environments.

2. Easy cleaning. The new connector allows for thorough cleaning (of both the connection and the receptacle), is easy to use and maintain, and offers faster setup and improved durability.
Furthermore, the Fischer Freedom Series makes life easier for design engineers by meeting their need for seamless integration of connectors (wired or wireless) into wearable and wearable multifunction devices.

3. Easy integration. Thanks to its compact, low-profile design, the Fischer LP360 is easy to integrate into garments with devices and subsystems. The panel-mounted connection interface allows for complete cable elimination, and the connector can be integrated directly into the housing of devices such as cameras, sensors, lights, or GPS units.

Because the Fischer LP360 is keyless, it offers 360° mating freedom, allowing it to be connected and routed in any direction, ensuring the cable always runs straight to the device. By eliminating twists and bends, it reduces the cable length of wearable equipment used by infantry soldiers, healthcare professionals, patients, civil engineers, surveyors, operators, law enforcement officers, and security guards.

In certain applications, the need for cables can be eliminated entirely (see point 3 above).

The shared data and power bus opens new opportunities in smart garments and the IoT.
