Capable of supporting data speeds of up to 5 Gbps in USB 3.0 models, the new product family is ideal for a variety of I/O applications in consumer and laptop devices, including mobile computing equipment, digital audio devices, and high-volume storage products.

Supplied as a jack or plug connector with horizontal or vertical orientations depending on the model, the new USB line features a range of mounting styles, including surface mount, cable mount, SMT mid-mount and screw-in, allowing them to connect to virtually any design.

All models feature a nominal voltage of 30 V AC, a nominal current of 1 or 1.8 A, and reliability with over 10,000 mating cycles for specific models. Black, blue, and white insulator color options are also available. The USB connectors have an operating temperature range of 25 to 85 °C and are RoHS compliant.
