TE wire-to-board receptacles are available in a variety of housing styles and crimp contacts for wire sizes from 30 to 24 AWG (0.05–0.22 mm²). The receptacle assemblies provide a large, reliable contact surface between the header pin and the female contact, using gold- or tin-plated, double-overhang phosphor bronze contacts. Single- and double-row housings are available, with 2 to 25 positions per row, and wire termination is easy using TE's recommended hand tools or applicators.
The receptacle assemblies are designed for use with TE's existing 2 mm pull-out header connectors and our new encapsulated header connectors. The encapsulated header connectors are available in a two-row configuration, in vertical and right-angle orientations, and come in through-hole or surface-mount termination options.
The 2 mm AMPMODU product family includes a latch-lock housing version for high-vibration industrial environments. All connector housings are molded from high-temperature resistant resin, making them suitable for reflow soldering. The connectors offer a maximum current rating of 2 A and a maximum operating voltage of 125 V.
