The APD printed circuit board connector provides a direct interface to the case but connects internally to the circuit instead of using standard wire and pin connectors. Furthermore, this new connector requires no wiring, saving board space and reducing manufacturing costs.
Robust and lightweight, the APD connector is sealed to IP67/IP69K standards, providing protection against dust and temporary immersion. Combined with excellent oil resistance, this connector is suitable for a wide range of industrial, transportation, and military applications. It operates at a maximum voltage of 48 V.
The connector is available in the following versions: 6, 7, 19, 37, or 51 pins, plus a 4-pin configuration for sensors. The machined contacts have a pressed contour and are available in four colors with mechanical codes. It is also suitable for wave soldering.
