These miniature SMD connectors are ideal for systems with small devices, such as mobile phones, digital cameras, or portable audio devices.
The connectors have a profile height of 1.00 mm, saving more space than many 0.90 mm versions available on the market. The new series is offered in a range of 20 to 80 circuits.
The series features a gold-plated ground pin and space-saving solder lugs that provide a secure PCB connection. The solder lug has a friction-lock design which, combined with a long-sliding clamp terminal design, provides a tactile click for a secure and reliable connection, as well as protection against impact from drops. The SlimStack package
incorporates PCB trace patterns beneath the connector to contribute to more flexible design and further space savings. The contact areas of the terminals are gold-plated, contributing to increased reliability and durability, and include a nickel barrier to protect against solder flux wicking. The system's voltage and power ratings are 50 V and 0.3 A, respectively. The package designs provide ample space for robotic pick-and-place operation, and packaging is done with embossed tapes to accommodate this method. A vacuum tape option is also available.

These latest versions complement Molex's SlimStack family of board-to-board connectors, which are available with pitch sizes from 0.40 mm (0.016 in) to 1.00 mm (0.039 in) and stacking heights from 0.90 mm (0.035 in) to 20.00 mm (0.787 in).
