This stackable connection system provides OEMs and electrical device manufacturers with greater design flexibility to meet both signal requirements and power applications exceeding 30 A. It also allows manufacturers to use the connectors as standalone components or group multiple connectors together to cover a wide range of signal and power needs within a single module.
The standard product range, based on 0.64 mm (0.025 in) terminals, includes 8, 12, 16, and 20-circuit connectors in vertical and rectangular headers that support low-level signals. Another version of the 10-circuit power module, which supports power applications for 1.50 mm and 2.80 mm (0.059 and 0.110”) terminal systems, is available in vertical and rectangular configurations.
Alignment pivots on the PCB ensure that all terminals are correctly aligned with the PCB through-holes during assembly and retain the header on the PCB during assembly and soldering. Additionally, the spacing on the encapsulated PCBs provides extra space for traces under the headers.
