Among these connectors are the 0.8 mm Edge Rate™ sockets (HSEC8 series), featuring the renowned Edge Rate™ contact system, which is optimized for signal integrity and can achieve performance up to 8 GHz (SE) and 10.5 GHz (DP) with 3 dB insertion loss. The high-density Edge Rate™ socket (BEC5 series) features a dual-level mating design (two levels of contacts with 1 mm line spacing, stackable), providing an effective board pitch of 0.5 mm and saving PCB space. This socket accommodates standard 1.60 mm and 2.40 mm PCBs.
High-speed board edge sockets are also available in a variety of pitches: 0.635 mm (MEC6 series), 0.8 mm (MEC8 series), 1 mm (MEC1 series), 1.27 mm (MECF series), and 2 mm (MEC2 series).
