5.7 mm and 8.0 mm SurLok Plus of the 2.5 generation
Amphenol's 5.7 mm (1000 VDC) and 8.0 mm (1500 VDC) Generation 2.5 right-angle connectors with non-electromagnetic interference protection are designed for high-voltage applications in the energy storage market. These connectors feature three protection characteristics and one rotation characteristic, including Pokayoke protection, incorrect installation protection, water resistance, and 360° rotation after mating.
14.0 mm SurLok Plus with EMI shielding
The powerful 14.0 mm SurLok Plus right-angle connector with a 1500 VDC voltage range offers EMI protection, a high-voltage lockout (HVIL) option, and a temperature range of -40 °C to 140 °C
It is ideal for use not only in the energy storage market, but also in electric vehicles, battery solutions, fuel cells, and industrial applications. This field-installable connector is environmentally friendly and a reliable alternative to common compression lugs. It can be used for DC/DC and AC/DC power transfers. The SurLok Plus 14.0 mm features EMI shielding.
Easy to attach and detach
All of these robust connectors are easy to connect and disconnect, featuring a keyway design to prevent incorrect mating, as well as a flexible quick-lock and snap-release design to accommodate various dimensional constraints. Each connector also incorporates the latest R4 RADSOK technology, which significantly increases amperage while reducing insertion force, temperature rise, and voltage drop.
SurLok Plus connectors incorporate a self-cleaning grid that cleans the contacts and the connector. They are sealed to withstand harsh weather conditions and comply with IP67, UL4128/TUV 2PfG2740 standards.
