The push-in connection allows for quick and easy cable insertion without tools. The PIKD range is designed for nominal voltages of 500 V and nominal currents of 20 A. The terminals can withstand a 6 kV surge. They meet Category III surge protection and have a Class 3 pollution rating. The compact terminals are 5.1 mm wide, 56.2 mm high, and, depending on the model, between 86 mm and 102 mm long. Their narrow, tall housing geometry and top-entry cable insertion allow for optimized use of available space in control cabinets.
Different signal and power distribution requirements are covered by the various available models: PE terminals, terminals with vertical connection levels for power distribution, and combined PE and through-type terminals. Shorter versions with a reduced number of contacts but the same height are available to facilitate uniform connection levels in installations with limited space.
Han® Q 4/0 and Han® Q 3/0 power connectors in the semiconductor industry
In the semiconductor industry, microchips are manufactured from what are known as wafers, which are composed of a high-purity crystalline material such as silicon. The wafers are initially polished and cleaned before undergoing various surface treatments, including oxidation and CVD.
