The use of one- to four-pole modules allows users to select the appropriate connector to meet the requirements of each application. Their 250 A power contacts are compact and easy to assemble, enabling a wide variety of vibration-resistant versions: a connector with four power contacts, three power contacts and one PE contact, two power contacts, or the most compact version with a single power contact. The two-piece, size 8 die-cast aluminum housing, which includes a cap, base, and compartmentalized design, incorporates a large-area PE connection and a mating structure. These highly impact- and corrosion-resistant housings are easy to mount and meet IP68 and IP69k protection levels. A quick-mount mating structure with pre-installed tightening screws is available for mounting these new compartmentalized housings. Weidmüller has redesigned the crimp contacts of the "RockStar® HighPower 250 A" so that they can now be disassembled using the M25 cable entry gauge. The precision-stranded, flexible, multi-core copper conductors, ranging from 25 to 95 mm², are easily terminated using standard crimping tools. No special tools are required. Thanks to the internal EMC connection, which can be adapted to the corresponding cable diameter, the "RockStar® HighPower 250 A" offers excellent EMC characteristics. The wide operating temperature range of -50 °C to +120 °C and the housing's shock resistance of up to 7 J ensure that users can install the new high-current connectors in extreme environments.
Han® Q 4/0 and Han® Q 3/0 power connectors in the semiconductor industry
In the semiconductor industry, microchips are manufactured from what are known as wafers, which are composed of a high-purity crystalline material such as silicon. The wafers are initially polished and cleaned before undergoing various surface treatments, including oxidation and CVD.
