Farnell currently stocks 1,000 passive products and 250 connector products from Würth Elektronik. A dedicated page has been created on element14, the online engineering community, where engineers can quickly gather detailed information about the new Power Elements connectors, view related articles, and discuss their needs with other engineers.
Combining high current capability of up to 10A per pin with a robust design, Power Elements products offer an ideal solution for wire-to-board connections in a wide range of applications, including emerging renewable energy technologies such as solar and wind power. The connectors are manufactured by Electronic Interconnect & Electromechanical Solutions, a division of Würth Elektronik, based in Lyon, France.
“We are proud to announce this exclusive distribution agreement for our Power Elements products with Farnell,” says Lars Fahrbach, Distribution Manager of Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co KG. “In recent years, this connector series has proven to be the preferred choice in many markets and is used worldwide in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector, which offers a new market for the products. A wide range offering different sizes and configurations allows our customers to select a standard product instead of a customized one, with all the advantages that entails.”
According to Emma Woodford, European Supplier Account Manager at Farnell: “Würth Elektronik is one of our four most valued partners, and the exclusive agreement for the new Power Elements products underscores the strength of our relationship. We look forward to supporting our engineering customers with these new products in the coming months, helping them bring their new designs to market faster and giving them a competitive edge.”.
