The award-winning Kona series, introduced in November 2020, is widely used in new applications such as space, electric vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and robotics, among others. Each contact of these compact, highly reliable connectors has a current rating of 60 A, providing a total capacity of 240 A when using the four-contact version. These new versions will also offer engineers additional options for designing more efficient distributed power solutions for their most demanding applications.

The new male connectors provide connections for any
number of Kona contacts. Engineers can also select housings with or without panel-mount brackets (compatible with screw-in brackets on the female connector). Fixed reverse screw-in brackets (compatible with fixed female panel-mount brackets) are also available, and all brackets are designed to connect before locking. The soldered male contact accepts 8AWG wire.

Kona wiring products are supplied to order and manufactured in the company's own dedicated manufacturing facility. Options include single and double-terminated versions in male-to-male, male-to-female, and female-to-female configurations.
