The Amphenol Industrial TS1 Series is a platform of sealed, high-voltage, high-current power connectors that provides designers with reliable electrification in harsh environments. Designed for demanding duty cycles, the TS1 Series targets high-power electrified and hybrid applications that experience high thermal, mechanical, and electrical stresses. The TS1 Series withstands these conditions through a robust mechanical design and shielding features that help protect critical power links. This high-voltage, high-current connector platform helps engineers distribute power among batteries, inverters, power distribution units (PDUs), DC-DC converters, pumps, and drives, especially in environments where shock, vibration, and exposure to harsh conditions can compromise connection integrity.
These connectors include 8 mm contacts rated up to 200 A and 12 mm contacts rated up to 450 A, providing designers with flexibility across a wide range of high-current architectures. The 12 mm TS1 connectors are rated up to 2000 VDC, while the 8 mm versions reach 1500 VDC for high-voltage applications. They support cables from 35 to 120 mm², including versions with individually shielded conductors. The TS1 series is also ideal for applications requiring a reliable power supply and management of electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by high-frequency switching devices. With a metal housing and sealing system, the TS1 connectors offer IP6K9K protection against dust and water ingress, making them suitable for splashing and high-pressure washing. They are designed to withstand up to 500 connection cycles and vibrations up to 20G, and can operate in a temperature range of -40 to +125 °C, making them suitable for both under-hood and chassis mounting applications.
