Souriau expands its railway product range with its new SMS IP range. The SMS IP is a high-performance, high-security connector designed to meet the NF F 61-030 standard for internal equipment.
It meets fire/smoke requirements and is the only connector on the market to have achieved HL3/R23 rating according to the CEN/TS 45-545 standard. It withstands low temperatures down to -55°C and can be used with voltages up to 500V. The SMS IP, available in 3, 6, and 12-pin versions, has been approved by Alstom, Bombardier, and SNCF.
Like the other connectors belonging to Souriau's range for the railway, the SMS IP uses standard AWG16 contacts.
