The IBH Link is a compact and robust Ethernet converter in a practical housing for direct connection to a switch, hub, or a computer's network card. It uses the widely adopted TCP/IP protocol.
The IBH Link S7++ now includes new features: configuration via its web server; compatibility with Windows 7 64-bit; support for STEP® 7 64-bit; PROFIBUS diagnostics; slave diagnostics; drive configuration; DPV1; integration with the TIA portal; DHCP; routing via RFC1006; PLC-to-PLC communication; and data access with other PLCs, Windows, and Linux systems.
This allows users to benefit from all the advantages of an Ethernet network, such as establishing a teleservice with a standard router or VPN (Virtual Private Network), and even a direct internet connection.
Other features of the IBHLink ++ include: 16 simultaneous PC connections, 32 simultaneous MPI/DP connections, a 24 VDC power connection, an RJ45 socket for your own network cable, and diagnostic LEDs.
