Additionally, adding a 1 SI CANopen module to the ET200S system allows for easy control of the CANopen network via Profibus or Profinet.With the introduction of the new module 1 SI CANopen, HMS integrates its CANopen Master technology within the SIMATIC architecture.
The SI CANopen module 1 enables easy integration with Siemens equipment in business segments where CANopen and other CAN-based protocols are currently used. It also allows Profibus and Profinet controllers and PLCs to interact with CAN/CANopen fieldbus devices, such as gateways, drives, positioners, etc.
