Since the Switch supports LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol), it is automatically recognized by programmable logic controllers and can be seamlessly integrated into the automation system via GSDML (General Station Description Markup Language) files, just like I/O devices.
The EL100-2MA is an 8-port switch featuring a ring function based on Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP) with a recovery time of less than 300 ms.
It is available with up to 4 flexibly configurable output ports and up to 6 transmit (Tx) ports. These Fast Ethernet switches, with their industrial design, can operate in a wide temperature range of -25°C to +60°C and are suitable for DIN rail and wall mounting.
Key features of the EL100-2MA include a web management GUI, port mirroring, DHCP client, IGMP, SNTP, SMTP, port-based and tagged VLANs, SNMP, RMON, Quality of Service (QoS), and an alarm relay output for system events. Additional features include auto-negotiation, MDX/MDIX, and a redundant power supply with an input voltage range of 12 VDC to 70 VDC. Individual applications can be implemented in connection with other systems outside the eLight and DragonLine series, respectively.
