Module 1 SI CANopen enables easy integration with Siemens equipment in business segments where CANopen and other CAN-based protocols are currently in use. It also opens up the possibility for Profibus and Profinet controllers and PLCs to interact with CAN/CANopen fieldbus devices, such as gateways, drives, positioners, etc.
