The REX 100 Ethernet routers, distributed by AN Consult Spain from Helmholtz, are perfectly suited for industrial environments and provide fast and secure remote internet access to your applications. Regardless of the manufacturer, REX routers can connect to Ethernet devices such as PLCs or displays. The REX 100 routers are designed to work in conjunction with the myREX24 VPN portal: all parameter configuration and remote maintenance are performed exclusively through the portal. Data transmission is encrypted via a VPN tunnel using the secure OpenVPN protocol. This ensures a high level of security in the communication path between the service technician and the system.

The REX 100 Ethernet router range has been expanded to include two new versions. The new REX 100 LTE enables fast data transmission with speeds of up to 50 Mbps upload and 100 Mbps download, and features an integrated 4-port LAN switch. The router can be used wherever 4G network coverage is available in Europe, Asia, and Australia. At lower data transmission rates, the LTE modem automatically switches to the available frequency band in the corresponding location. Furthermore, the REX 100 LTE operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +75°C.

The new REX 100 WiFi enables wireless connectivity to the WAN via its integrated WLAN functionality, meaning, for example, that mobile devices can easily connect to an existing WLAN infrastructure. It features four available RJ45 ports.

All REX 100 routers have two digital inputs. One serves as a trigger for establishing a connection with the portal server. The other input can be assigned to an alarm function. Configured this way, the REX 100 can send alarm SMS messages or emails to predefined recipients.

Perfect combination of REX 100 and myREX24 devices.
To use the myREX24 portal with REX Ethernet routers, all you need is an internet connection and an access account, which is set up once in the portal. Once these requirements are met, the customer simply decides which communication path the respective REX routers should use to connect to the internet and whether the connection should be continuous or established on demand. This configuration is also created in the portal and can be easily uploaded to the REX router.

The portal also offers other benefits, such as detailed connection reports and a way to manage specific machines individually, making it possible to create different permission levels to manage all machines online. At the same time, the system also ensures that all operators can see the current status of each machine in real time.
