The key differentiator of the series lies in its daisy-chain expansion topology, which allows power, fieldbus, and IO-Link communication to be daisy-chained via a dedicated expansion port without consuming the master's native channels. This architecture enables the management of up to 256 digital I/Os per master node and extends the total cable run in the field to 40 meters (an additional 20 meters beyond the standard limit) without requiring parameterization or additional software.
