The housing of the new 91905 Series Straight Junction Box is made from a high-temperature PPA (polyphthalamide) resin with high resistance to thermal deformation, making it capable of withstanding the temperatures of reflow soldering processes. Equipped with 16 fork terminals for power, 2 fusible terminals, and 24 square 0.61 mm (0.024 in) signal pins, the Molex MOST Straight Junction Box connects the electronics of the onboard multimedia interface module, which contains stereo equipment, GPS, DVD, telephone, and portable media players, to the wiring harness that connects speakers and amplifiers. Molex also offers custom-designed rectangular junction boxes that perform the same function.
