R&M has added the FM45/u Cat.5e.angled connector to its FM45 family. This connector is available in TIA 568A and TIA 568B unshielded wiring configurations for solid and stranded cable of AWG 23-26 cross-sections (other versions available upon request).Compared to straight connectors, the cable routing is done at an angle, so the FM45/u requires 40% less space around the socket. The angled connector design is also a significant advantage for cable routing in racks with high cable density and limited space, or for workstations.
The angled housing design allows for a 90-degree position in any of the four directions, and the connector can always be redirected afterward.
The stable data connection is ensured by both the IDC connection between cable and connector and by its PCB-free design and its sheet-type mechanical stress reliever.
This new product offers numerous applications: office spaces, surveillance cameras, VoIP, cabling, or connections to home outlets. The FM45 angled connector is the ideal solution where space is limited.
