A high level of ease of use is achieved without the need for force or tools. This is possible because the connection chamber is open by default upon delivery. When pressed with the conductor inserted, the pre-tensioned contact spring is released, even with the smallest and most flexible conductors, and a secure contact is automatically established. This reduces installation time and allows for faster wiring. As with the push-in system, the connected conductors are released by pressing the orange actuating button. This opens the connection chamber and simultaneously tensions the contact spring.
The push-button always indicates the free chamber status, regardless of the conductor diameter or the terminal block position. The XTV product range initially comprises three cross-sectional areas: 6, 10, and 16 mm². Thanks to the multifunctional properties of these multi-conductor, single-throw terminal blocks, they can be used in a variety of control cabinet and field applications. Testing that exceeds standard requirements allows the push-X connection technology to be used even in industries with demanding requirements for vibration, gas tightness, and robustness. Thanks to the double-bridged pit, XTV terminal blocks can be freely combined with terminal blocks and accessories from the Clipline complete terminal block system.
