industrial video encoderThe VPort 461 delivers the best video quality on the market while requiring less bandwidth than other compressors. Upgrading and migrating existing CCTV systems to IP video means more flexible and scalable installations, all easily achieved with the new VPort 461. With it, there's no need to replace the original equipment or invest in new cameras.

The VPort 461 can output up to three D1 resolution video frames simultaneously in H.264 format with very low latency, less than 200 ms. The H.264 standard provides the best video quality while requiring significantly less storage and bandwidth compared to other video compression standards. Thanks to H.264 encoding technology, the VPort 461 can easily handle high-quality video streams. Users can also easily access live video or play back and analyze recorded videos directly through a web browser. Anywhere, anytime.

The VPort 461 with H.264 video encoding has been designed for critical industrial applications. It boasts a wide range of industrial features, including support for operating temperatures from -40°C to +75°C, an IP30-rated metal housing, and multiple certifications required in industrial environments.
The VPort 461 is fully compatible with Moxa's SoftNVR-IA software tools and Video Gadget, which not only improves video performance and network reliability in IP video surveillance environments but also offers significant advantages for Modbus and OPC-based communications. As a result, the VPort 461 can be easily integrated into SCADA systems and is a perfect solution for IP surveillance systems in industrial settings.
The VPort 461 features two 10/100 Ethernet ports, allowing multiple VPort 461s to be cascaded. This topology saves money by eliminating the need for switches and reducing cabling, while also minimizing topology planning. The two ports can also be used to implement a redundant backup path, which will automatically redirect data if the primary path fails.
To ensure no packet loss, the VPort 461 includes an SD card slot (SDHC, V2.0), currently supporting up to 32 GB of storage. In the event of a network failure, untransmitted video frames are stored locally in the SD card slot.

The VPort 461 is compatible with Moxa Real COM technology, enabling RS-232/422/485 PTZ camera control. Moxa's transparent PTZ control function eliminates the need for a dedicated driver, allowing the use of existing panels or keypads in the installation.
