24 and 48 port Cat6 panels with PoE+ support and 1U and 2U form factors for 19” racks
COFITEL Group introduces Leviton's new 110 UTP-style Cat6 patch panels with 100W PoE+ support. The 69586-E24 (24 ports – 1U) and 69586-E48 (48 ports – 2U) models are designed for use with universal A/B cabling and provide faster field terminations.
Both panels incorporate Retention Force Technology (RFT) to help increase system longevity. A polymer spring supports the connector pins, increasing tensile strength and preventing pin damage from repeated plugging and unplugging.
Furthermore, this patented technology eliminates any possibility of inadvertent intermittent disconnections and offers additional protection against PoE arc flash, resulting in cost savings for repairs and replacement.
The panels also feature 50-micron gold-plated contacts for a perfect connection, color-coded labels for port identification, and a rear cable management bar in a 1U/2U 19" rack format to provide improvements in density, ease of installation, and aesthetic finish.
The features are completed with a grounding kit consisting of a factory-fitted grounding patch cord with a 30cm cable and a Faston terminal.
100W PoE+
The 69586-E24 and 69586-E48 models exceed the requirements of the IEEE Draft 802.3bt (Type 4) standard, which comes into effect next September, and the IEEE 802.3af (15.4W PoE), IEEE 802.3at (30W PoE+), IEEE Draft 802.3bt (Type 3 – 60W PoE+), Cisco Universal Power Over Ethernet (60W UPOE), and Power Over HDBaseT™ (100W POH) standards.
And, as they also comply with ANSI/TIA 6060-B, the two Cat6 panels support the new generation of PoE+ up to 100W and applications with desktop computers, televisions, video conferencing systems and high-power wireless equipment.

What makes an iPDU smart?
Although “smart PDUs” (iPDUs) are becoming more common in today's data centers, many installers and network administrators still choose and use basic or “dumb” PDUs instead of “smart” devices due to the misconception that iPDUs are more expensive.
