The system's concept for the divisible insertion of independent sealing elements simplifies customized cable management, as it eliminates the need to disassemble and reassemble cables with plugs for retrofitting or maintenance, thus preserving the manufacturer's warranty. The KDSI-SR system is based on the modular design and mounting concept of the KDS program and uses the same components. It features an inverted cone design for the screw-on frame opening and includes an additional two-piece cover with TPE sealing elements in three tiers. This ensures a perfect fit of the sealing elements, resulting in IP66 protection and reliable static discharge according to DIN EN 62444.
Conical sealing elements with serrated edges are available for one, two, or four cables, or as plugs. The modular cable entry system offers greater capacity compared to cable glands. This halogen- and silicone-free system is suitable for a wide range of requirements and can withstand ambient temperatures from -40°C to +120°C. KDSI-SR frames are available for 4, 6, 8, or 10 sealing elements in various configurations to accommodate different cable diameters.
