First, the standard-sized opening in the cabinet wall is completely and hermetically sealed by screwing in the flange plate. Then, up to three segments can be opened at predetermined points, as needed, without tools. Removing each segment leaves a 40 x 10 mm opening, which can be further divided into up to ten frame openings by fitting KDSClick series inner frame pieces into place. The inner pieces are available as single dividers, T-shaped pieces, cross pieces, or double cross pieces to fit custom opening dimensions.

CONTA-CLIP offers a continuously expanding range of different sealing elements (currently around 100) for sealing lines or pipes of varying diameters, as well as for routing multiple cables through a single frame opening. The sealing elements feature a wavy edge that allows for easy placement over the cables, ensuring not only a precise and airtight seal but also reliable strain relief.
Once the cables are sheathed, the elements are inserted from inside the cabinet and pressed outwards through the frame openings, aligning with the internal components. Thanks to their conical shape, the sealing elements can be easily and effortlessly pressed against the frame opening/internal components and removed just as easily if more cables need to be added. Unused frame openings remain securely sealed by the sealing plugs, allowing for convenient cable modifications without having to disassemble the frame, even for a single cable. Two types of frame plates are available: the KDS-FP-2 x 10/24 and the KDS-FP-3 x 10/24, for up to 20 or 30 configurable frame openings, respectively. Additional designs are currently under development.

There is also a locking accessory for the sealing elements for users who want additional cable strain relief inside the distribution cabinet. This accessory provides a tool-free solution that can be inserted into the slots behind the frame plate.
