The robust polyamide frames are filled with elastomer and positioned on the outside of the cabinet or box, secured with screws in 36 x 112 mm openings. The plates have a low profile height of only 14 mm. They can also be supplied pre-fitted for tool-free installation, in which case the screw holes are completely sealed by the elastomer layer.
To insert the cables, the outer membrane of the cable entry plate is pierced at a marked access point, and then the cables are simply pushed through. In addition to the pierced membrane, the conical entry grommets on the back of the plate provide extra double sealing for the cables, offering IP66 protection and reliable strain relief. This new design accommodates up to 32 cables per plate, significantly exceeding the capacity of conventional screw-type cable entry solutions.
CONTA-CLIP presents 24 variants of the new KES plates designed for different maximum numbers of lines and cable diameters. The flexible cable guides are suitable for cables or pneumatic lines with diameters ranging from 3.2 mm to 20.5 mm. The high IP66 protection rating of the cable routing system facilitates use in harsh environments. KES also features smooth surfaces, rounded corners, and ECOLAB-certified resistance to industrial cleaning products, thus providing all the necessary hygienic properties for use in the food industry or pharmaceutical production.
