The assembly is quick and easy, requiring no tools. Simply pass the cables, with or without plugs, through the opening in the box and the cable pass-through frame. The conical sealing elements with grooves and fins are then mounted on the inside of the cables, and the cables, along with the sealing elements, are returned to the cable pass-through frame. I-shaped, T-shaped, and +-shaped inner pieces are available for M40 and larger openings. These allow for the insertion of different sealing elements as needed.
The complete cable entry frame is secured by inserting the two-piece threaded locking adapter on the outside of the enclosure and the two-piece lock nut on the inside. The special shape of the sealing elements ensures a high degree of protection (IP66) and tensile strength according to DIN EN 62444. The wide range of sealing elements available for different diameters, shapes, and multiple holes offers great flexibility when creating wiring solutions. The tool-less system ensures effortless retrofitting. Unused entry points in the frame can be sealed with blanking plugs, which are easily removed when cables need to be added.
