He described the iF Product Design Award as confirmation of a major product advancement. He further added that the Cat. 6A module is becoming a symbol of the R&M brand.
With the Cat. 6A module, R&M launched a newly developed connection solution for RJ45 connectors last year. It was designed for the next generation of bandwidth, operating at data transmission speeds of 10 gigabits per second. The module is intended for use in data centers, industrial facilities, clinics, banks, and offices within structured cabling systems.
Its red plastic casing houses numerous high-tech components for twisted-pair copper cables and high-frequency signal transmission. R&M achieves effective decoupling and shielding through a pyramid-shaped connection block and separation plates. Typical electronic interference between twisted pairs—crosstalk—is almost completely eliminated.
