"We decided to develop the SDS-3000 series of smart industrial switches with a 3-2-1 design to simplify industrial communications. There are three pre-configured AI protocols, two installation methods, and a single-page information panel for easy setup. The new SDS-3016 series includes an additional rotary code DIP switch located at the back of the device so engineers can make quick profile adjustments without needing a web browser," says Elsa Liu, product manager at Moxa.

The switch includes only the features needed by AI engineers and automation machine manufacturers. Furthermore, and importantly, it requires no IT-based network management knowledge.
