The HFBR-1505AFZ/2505AFZ, designed with a metal connector and metal housing, provides excellent RFI/EMI shielding. The new components, based on 650 nm wavelengths, will be available with SMA and ST connector ports and are compatible with 1 mm POF/200 mm HCS (hard-clad silica fiber). Furthermore, the HFBR-1505AFZ/2505AFZ offers data transmission speeds of DC to 10 MBd and DC to 16 MBd, and a working temperature range of -40 to 85°C.

Avago's new all-metal, fiber optic industrial transceivers will be available in four versions. The HFBR-1505AFZ/
2505AFZ is designed for SERCOS at 10 MBd; the HFBR-1505CFA/2505CFZ supports Interbus-S at 2 MBd; the HFBR-1515BFZ/251BFZ supports PROFIBUS-S at 10 MBd; and the HFBR-1506AFZ supports SERCOS at 16 MBd.
