The suite achieves this through three key attributes: a flexible architecture; open and interoperable components; and dynamic, cloud-based operation. The Cloud-to-Edge solution enables service providers, in both new-build FTTH and deep-fiber scenarios, to bridge multiple network topologies and leverage SDN efficiencies to future-proof their networks, regardless of future demands.

The Cloud-to-Edge Next-Gen PON suite of solutions comprises four components: the new CommScope FLX PON OLT and ONU portfolio, ServAssure domain management software, ServAssure NXT performance management software, fiber connectivity solutions, and engineering and project management services. Together, they enable providers to:
- Improve time to revenue and optimize capex through a software-based architecture that supports disaggregated and aggregated PON architectures, as well as the utilization of public and private cloud environments and multi-vendor strategies;
- Reduce opex, risk, and complexity through software-based domain and performance management: improve network visibility and help enhance QoE, identify and resolve issues, and reduce repair and truck roll-in times
; - Drive technology change further and faster through an open architecture that can accelerate the deployment of new microservices and deliver a modern pay-as-you-go model.
