Key features of the new models, which bring the AQ7275 series to a total of nine devices, include a wide wavelength range and improved dynamic range (up to 45 dB). The high dynamic range is effective for measurements on long-distance fiber optic transmission lines incorporating high-loss splitters.
The new instruments are designated 735031, 735034, 735035, 735036, 735038, and 735041. The 735031 is designed for metro, access network, and FTTH applications, supports a 1650 nm wavelength, and includes a 1310/1550 nm cutoff filter. The 735034 is a high dynamic range model for core and metro network installation and maintenance.
The 735035 is a three-wavelength model for access networks and FTTH/PON applications. It supports three wavelengths: 1310 nm for data from subscribers, 1490 nm for data to subscribers, and 1550 nm for video to subscribers.
The 735036 also supports three wavelengths (1310, 1550, and 1625 nm) and is designed for metro and core network applications. It also supports the 1625 nm maintenance waveform and includes a 1310/1550 nm filter. The 735038 supports the same wavelengths as the 735036 but adds core and metro network maintenance and monitoring capabilities.
Finally, the 735041 is a model that supports four wavelengths (850 and 1300 nm multimode and 1310 and 1550 nm single-mode) for LAN and FTTH installation and maintenance.
All models in the AQ7275 series feature a short dead zone of only 0.8 m.
