This wireless device comes with the VUE3 app, which includes pass/fail testing software and a flexible data storage tool that allows technicians to download results as needed for the inspection.
The new probe also includes a capture button, a battery with a five-hour autonomy, and an LED light that illuminates the adapter to be analyzed, providing the best possible visibility in high-density data centers and telecommunications cabinets.
The Smart Probe 2 with the VUE3 app becomes a mobile application for IEC 61300-3-35 end inspection, offering users a portable, efficient, and complete solution for checking optical interfaces.
The SENKO VUE3 app provides the ability to inspect and analyze the ends of fiber optic connectors (to detect contamination and other defects). This app features a user-friendly interface that enhances visibility during the inspection process.
The new probe also features auto-increment and auto-archive functions. With just a few taps, the VUE3 app can be configured to automatically number each inspection and compile the results into a group. This allows the installer to review and edit the information before downloading, giving them greater control over the report.
SENKO and the COFITEL Group offer a wide range of inspection tips for the Smart Probe 2. The probe is supplied with tips for analyzing 2.5 mm connector ferrules (such as SC) and 1.25 mm ferrules (such as LC).
Tips for inspecting SC, LC, E2000, and other connector types are also available. UPC and APC versions are available, as well as larger models for high-density applications.
The Smart Probe 2 is an update of the original SENKO Smart Probe, which received the Lightwave Honorable Mention for technical quality in 2014.
