AOC HD iPass complements the existing range of copper HD iPass+ connectors and cables, providing large enterprises and data centers with a comprehensive solution for their storage systems.
AOC HD cables feature a slim 3.00 mm outer diameter, simplifying cable management and routing by reducing bulk and increasing cable flexibility. The smaller size also saves space, allowing system designers to implement more input/output ports. The HD iPass+ system enables four ports on low-profile PCIe cards, doubling port density and simplifying cable management. Furthermore, AOC HD cables consume only 0.9 W per cable, contributing to reduced power consumption and improved thermal efficiency in the overall data center. These cables meet the requirements of SAS-3 (12 Gbps) systems with optical mode functionality, InfiniBand (10 Gbps), and Ethernet (10 Gbps) and are backward compatible with SAS-2.1 6 Gbps systems capable of optical mode.
