The GE-C110U performs the conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX (SC/LC) Fiber Ethernet, while the GE-C110AU performs the same operation from 10/100/1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX (SFP) Fiber Ethernet.
The two converters can be powered via an external adapter or through the USB port of the 'hosting' device, such as a PC or NB, with the aim of increasing deployment flexibility.
Each of these two models features four LED indicators to display operating status and a DIP switch for setting configurations required for specific applications.
These converters have a data transfer rate of 2000 Mbps/full-duplex and are compatible with the IEEE 802.3 10Base-T, IEEE 802.3u 100Base-T, IEEE 802.3z/ab 1000Base-T, IEEE 802.3x 'full-duplex flow control', and 1000Base-SX/LX standards.
The GE-C110U and GE-C110AU units, measuring 26.2 mm x 70.3 mm x 94 mm, are FCC Part 15 Class A certified and CE marked.
