The EMGC model, manufactured in Spain by ADILEC, enables point-to-point connections over Gigabit-speed fiber optics and supports IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3x standards at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
This Ethernet-to-Gigabit media converter features an SFP port that offers great versatility for fiber connectivity, allowing switching from single-mode to multi-mode fiber, from one to two fibers, or increasing the connection distance (up to 20, 40, and 80 kilometers) by changing the SFP transceiver.
The EMGC, which is completely transparent to communications, also features full-duplex or half-duplex operation, a 12/24 Vac/Vdc (±15%) power supply, a consumption of up to 180 mA/12 Vdc, and an MTBF of 100,000 hours.
Each standalone converter measures 41 x 106 x 165 mm and weighs 365 grams.
