The CV converters support multiple single-mode and multimode configurations with one or two fibers, enabling links up to 6 kilometers (multimode) and 50 kilometers (single-mode).
Furthermore, the new units, which support 10/100Base Tx, eliminate the need for installation adjustments, and their operation can be verified via optical LED indicators.
Additional features include compatibility with SC/PC fiber connectors, low power consumption, a 100,000-hour MTBF, and an industrial operating temperature range of -40 to +74 °C.
The CV family comprises rack-mount (PAWAL) or standalone/DIN rail units. Rack converters with 7TE and 3U sub-chassis measure 35 x 129 x 167 mm, while standalone models measure 41 x 106 x 84 mm.
