Mode converters for fiber optics
The equipment in this family, with a fiber optic link via an LC connector, is capable of transmitting and receiving signals over distances of up to 50 km (single-mode), using wavelengths of 850 nm for multimode and 1310 and 1550 nm for single-mode.
These mode converters can be powered in two different ways: via an external 110–220 Vac power supply (included) supplied with each unit, or through the optional use of 19” rack frames. In the latter case, twelve or fourteen converters can be mounted per frame and powered by either 48 Vac or 220 Vac, depending on the frame model.
The converters, which are RoHS compliant and CE marked, measure 70.5 x 94 x 26.5 mm and have an operating temperature range of 0 to +60 °C.
