The Stratos T2 series is a two-channel optical transceiver and media converter, where each channel supports Ethernet speeds up to 1000 Mbps, enabling a combined 2 Gbps fiber link between connected devices. The system ensures stable, high-speed communication in demanding environments where traditional network equipment cannot operate.
The optical interface uses a four-channel TFOCA-II connector and supports a wide range of optical wavelengths and fiber modes. Electrically, the modular design offers flexibility with either a robust MIL-STD-800 circular connector or magnetic RJ45 PoE connectors, enabling easy integration into a variety of system architectures.
The Stratos T2 series media converters meet MIL-STD-810 environmental resistance standards, including resistance to temperature variations, thermal shock, vibration, mechanical shock, humidity, and altitude. The products also meet FCC Class A requirements and feature both internal and external EMI sealing to ensure reliable operation in electrically noisy environments.
