With the rise of the Pre-5G/5G era, the carrier network increasingly requires high-capacity networks and higher base station density so that the control network can more easily utilize Software-Defined Networking (SDN)/Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) architectures. ZTE's multi-access layer solution, which addresses backhaul connectivity, uses innovative products and solutions to help operators meet the challenges associated with future network expansions.

As an integrated device, the ZXCTN 608 solution adopts a comprehensive package set, supporting both indoor and outdoor scenarios. It is a small, high-capacity, high-performance access layer device specifically designed for mobile carrier networks. The ZXCTN 608 series offers multiple interfaces, including E1, Fast Ethernet (FE), Gigabit Ethernet (GE), and 10GE, fully meeting the transmission requirements of various mobile services and customers. The outdoor device, the 608P, supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and IP65 protection. It can supply power to other devices in PoE mode, meeting outdoor installation and application requirements, which can simplify network deployment and reduce operating expenses (OPEX). Furthermore, the ZXCTN 608 solution incorporates natural heat dissipation and a zero-noise design to meet low-noise application scenarios. Furthermore, the ZXCTN 608P device supports SDN evolution for building smart networks while providing a platform for network and application innovation, thus meeting the long-term needs of service development.
