The Lessengers™ AI/ML product now incorporates the following integrated retimer electronics along with the existing fully retimer optics
Linear drive – plug-in linear optics (LPO)
or Linear receive: semi-retimed linear optics (HALO) or linear receive optics (LRO).
The 800G linear receive optical transceiver now offers:
• Lower power consumption: less than 9 W for an 800G OSFP (2 × SR4)
• Compatible with IEEE 802.3 and CMIS 5.0 or later
• 8 × 112 Gb/s PAM4 on the electrical host receiver and optical line transmitter interfaces
• An integrated half-timer chip in the transmission path from the electrical input to the optical line output to improve signal retiming and equalization.
All Lessengers products are based on the company's proprietary DOW technology, a polymer-based air-clad waveguide technology especially useful for optical interconnects in data centers and high-performance computing environments.
