Most MOST25 transmitters and receivers are designed for conventional wave soldering, but Avago now offers an updated version for "pin-in-paste" reflow soldering. Avago is currently developing MOST150 transceivers ready for reflow soldering, applying the technical improvements in material technology and packaging from its MOST25 reflow transceivers. This new capability will reduce manufacturing costs for the MOST150 systems. The launch is planned for summer 2012.
