The alliance represents a significant milestone in nsign's international growth strategy, especially in North America, where BrightSign media players are widely deployed in corporate digital signage networks in sectors such as retail, quick service restaurant (QSR), hospitality, transportation and corporate communications.

Thanks to support for select BrightSign media players, nsign can now be deployed on both new infrastructures and existing BrightSign-based networks, allowing organizations to adopt the platform without replacing previously installed hardware. This provides a convenient migration path for businesses looking to modernize their digital signage operations while protecting their existing technology investments.

For AV integrators and channel partners, integration expands the deployment scenarios they can offer their customers. Many large, multi-location organizations already operate BrightSign-based networks and are increasingly seeking CMS platforms that combine ease of use, centralized management, scalability, and remote device control.

“North America is a strategic market for nsign, and many of the retailers, restaurant chains, and corporate organizations we work with already operate BrightSign-based networks,” says Mónica Fernández, Managing Director of nsign. “This alliance removes a significant barrier to the adoption of our platform, as it allows these organizations to benefit from nsign without having to replace their existing BrightSign deployments.”.

The collaboration also strengthens nsign's partner-based growth model. The company operates globally through a network of certified AV integrators and technology partners, helping organizations deploy and scale digital signage projects across multiple markets. BrightSign's support allows nsign to better align with the hardware choices many of these partners and their customers have already made.

From a technical standpoint, the integration allows the full suite of nsign functionalities to run on select BrightSign media players. The integration has been tested and validated on the BrightSign XT1145 and LS445 players, with additional models planned for future certification.

Initial compatibility includes devices from the XT and LS series. The XT series is designed for demanding digital signage applications requiring advanced video, HTML5, and interactivity capabilities, while the LS series addresses essential digital signage needs, including Full HD and 4K playback, widgets, animations, and touch interaction.

“Customers expect their CMS to work with the hardware they already trust,” says Teresa Rojas, Chief Technology & Product Officer at nsign. “By making the full suite of nsign features available to select BrightSign players, we’re giving integrators a more flexible way to deploy our CMS in projects of all sizes, from simple signage networks to more advanced, multi-site environments.”.
