Boldyn Networks is one of the world's largest providers of shared network infrastructure and a pioneer in the deployment of private networks. In his last year as CEO of Boldyn in Italy, Ruggiero played a key role in defining the #Roma5G project, which involves installing the first advanced 5G shared infrastructure in the Italian capital, transforming the iconic city into a smart city. Previously, he held various leadership positions at BT Group, Ericsson, Omnitel (Vodafone Italy), and TIM in Chile, Turkey, Brazil, and Italy.

In Spain, Boldyn Networks already plays a strategic role in the country's digital transformation through the deployment of private 5G networks in complex industrial environments, such as those of BASF and OPCSA. Under Ruggiero's leadership, the company plans to bring to the Spanish market the expertise gained in other countries, such as Italy, to drive the development of smart cities using neutral host technology, thereby accelerating its growth in the local market and generating new opportunities for global clients with a presence in Spain.

Antonino Ruggiero, CEO of Boldyn Networks in Spain, stated: “I am taking on this new role with great enthusiasm and a firm commitment to continue driving Boldyn Networks' growth in the Spanish market, where we already collaborate with leading industrial clients. We will facilitate technological development throughout the country by deploying advanced 5G infrastructure.”

Andrew McGrath, CEO for the integrated business in Europe and Group Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Boldyn Networks, stated: “Antonino has an impressive track record in business development within the company and extensive experience in international markets. As the new CEO for Spain, he will decisively lead strategic connectivity projects in the country.”
