“I am very excited about this new challenge. Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of health, technology, and innovation, convinced that digital transformation is an opportunity to strengthen management, generate value in healthcare systems, and improve the experience of individuals throughout their entire care journey,” says Defensa.
Before joining Getronics, Agustina Defensa held various leadership positions in the public and private sectors, including roles as director of strategic projects at the National Institute of Social Services for Retirees and Pensioners (PAMI), director of digital transformation and patient experience at the Güemes Private Hospital Group, and senior project manager at Markey Healthcare Solutions. Her comprehensive, results-oriented, and systemic approach strengthens Getronics' strategic vision in the healthcare sector.
“Getronics combines solid technological expertise with a deep understanding of the healthcare sector. Our solutions, which range from digital infrastructure and cybersecurity to automation, interoperability, and applied artificial intelligence, position us as a strategic partner to drive innovation across the entire healthcare ecosystem. We want to expand that impact and support our clients in building more connected, sustainable, and human-centered systems,” says Defensa.

He has participated in strategic initiatives for entities such as the Andalusian Health Service, Aragon Health Service, CASER, and the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God, among others. Thanks to this experience, he has driven the development and deployment of innovative solutions such as Sfere and AnaPath, designed to facilitate the digital transformation of healthcare at all levels.
A Computer Engineer from the University of Seville, he complemented his training with Abengoa's Project Management Program (DPA), consolidating a solid foundation in the management of complex projects. “I’m thrilled to return to Getronics at this time. It’s a unique opportunity to put my experience in the healthcare sector, clinical processes, and hospital technology at the service of our clients, supporting them in their digital transformation. It’s very rewarding to participate in projects where technology becomes a driver of continuous improvement for the healthcare system.
